DINING IN ST AUGUSTINE

If you like restaurants, you're coming to the right place.  St Augustine is full of excellent dining options!  Whether you feel like fried shrimp or fine dining options we have it all here!

The first thing to note, if you're staying at Casa Lovett, La Nouvelle Bistro is down the block on the corner of Martin Luther King and Bridge St. Located in an historic villa called the Jefferson House, you can dine on the porch if weather permits! Be sure to call in advance and get a reservation.  If you are a fan of French cuisine, you will absolutely love it!  They also have a bar on the ground level so drop in for a cocktail!

You can also drive or walk two blocks to Riberia St, head north and you will find the St. Augustine Fish Camp and the vintage-inspired Ice Plant Bar. Both have excellent options for lunch and dinner. I love to go to the Ice Plant bar for cocktails!

Caps on the Water is one of my all time favorite spots. Located on the north end of Vilano Beach (North Beach) you'll find excellent food, cocktails and wines with an Intracoastal sunset view! What could be better! They don’t take reservations so go early or avoid peak times. You can also arrive by boat!

Up on King St you can enjoy One Twenty Three Burger House or Crave for poke bowls and smoothies. There is a donut shop and quite a few choices around.

The Old Town in Downtown St Augustine has so many dining options it is hard to know where to start! The Colombia is a classic for excellent Cuban food. The Floridian is a great spot for lunch or dinner. You also have Michael’s, a great place for steaks and wine. A1A Aleworks has a beautiful view of the water. Prohibition Kitchen is a fun spot to go to with live music. PizzAlley’s and the Chianti Room is another fun spot on St. George St. I love Mayday ice cream near the Colombia on Hypolita St.

O’Steens on the east side of the Bridge of Lions is a local favorite. Blackfly is higher end and has great food. Llama is small and intimate. Osprey Tacos is my favorite taco place with fresh ingredients. There is also a brewery next door where you can get drinks to go along with it.

For the best sushi and Thai food in the area don’t miss Andaman Asian Bistro. You’ll see this on the corner of A1A and Hwy 312.  I also love Ginger Bistro!
