There is no shortage of things to do while in St Augustine! Here are some of my favorites...
Anastasia State Park is a beautiful beach with plenty of birds and you may event see Gopher Tortoises. If you want to rent paddleboards or kayaks this is a great place to do it. After you pass the entrance, drive into the park and on the left you will see the watersports rentals.
If you're into hauntings and ghost tours, you'll want to connect with Early Haunts who do nightly walking tours around Old Town and the graveyards.
Castillo de San Marco is an amazing piece of history and the tour is very interesting.
The Alligator Farm is a lot of fun and given that it is almost all outside you’ll want to go when it is not too hot, cold or rainy. The Bird Rookery is amazing.
Nearby, you’ll find the Lighthouse Park and the lighthouse which is an icon of St Augustine.
You’ll find a lot of attractions on San Marco, such as the Fountain of Youth, and nearby Magnolia Avenue.
There are several boat ride vendors here including the Pirate ship and the Freedom. I love the small tiki bar boats! There are also several eco tour operators that do boat and kayak tours. Ripple Effects is a good operator down near Marineland.
If you want to bike, ride scooters, drive in a golf cart or rent one of the little scooter cards, St Augustine Bike Rentals is nearby on Riberia and King St. You can rent them by the house or as long as you want.
The Trolley Rides are also a fun way to see the area with the drivers telling you about the history while you ride. It is a great way to orient yourself if this is your first time to St Augustine.
If you have something particular in mind let me know and I can make some recommendations!
